INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MEDICAL PLANTS AND NATURAL DRUG RESEARCH

Greetings and best wishes from Al-farabi Kazakh National university, Almaty, Kazakhstan!

       In honor of the 90th anniversary, Research Center for Medicinal Plants of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) will hold the International Conference on Medical Plants and Natural Drug Research in gorgeous Almaty city on June 5–7, 2024 at Al-Farabi KazNU.

       Al-Farabi KazNU is the leader of the National Rankings among the universities of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The university was the first laureate of the Presidential Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan “For Achievements in the Area of Quality” and laureate of the Award of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for achievements in the area of quality and services in the history of the country. KazNU enrolls the largest cohort of students in Kazakhstan on its campus in downtown Almaty City, overlooking the gorgeous mountains of Alatau. History of the university is rich in various events of scientific, educational and social life; it is imbued with the enthusiasm of young people and the wisdom of mentors, the powerful energy of knowledge and the power of scientific thought. Creative search and painstaking everyday work of many generations of students, teachers and scientists bit by bit formed the glorious fate of the First University of the country.

       This conference are going to be a meeting point for all members of medicinal plants and natural drug research-related field scientists from all over the world will participate to exchange their own experiences, namely the universities and research institutions of Central Asian countries together with South Korea, Japan, China, USA, Turkey, Cyprus, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Pakistan. The purpose of the International Conference 2024 is to provide an opportunity to exchange achievements about resources, cultivations, chemical constituents, bioactivities, and medical applications of edible and medical plants. To discuss the hot points and the core problems in the relevant fields, and to foresee the prospects in basic research and technologies. The latest developments in this field, domestic and abroad, are expected to promote scientific exchanges, cooperation, and communications among scientists around the world.
